Beds, sectionals, and oversized dressers get disassembled before the drive and rebuilt at the new address. In an older single house downtown, the crew rolls out floor protection room by room, since heart-pine flooring won’t take a scratch back out. An HOA on Daniel Island that only opens its gate in narrow windows is exactly where an unprepared mover shows up without paperwork and loses the slot.
