Summerville Movers
Summerville splits into a walkable historic core around the old Flowertown district and newer subdivisions further out along I-26. A move inside the historic core deals with narrow, older streets much like downtown Charleston does. A move to one of the newer subdivisions deals with a longer highway pull instead. Momentum Movers plans for whichever one it is.
- Where it sitsInland along I-26, built around the historic Flowertown district known for its azaleas

- Reaching itOur North Charleston yard takes I-26 inland, a longer pull than most of our closer-in jobs
The historic core moves like downtown does
Flowertown’s older streets run narrow in places, closer to what Silas Vance handles in Charleston’s historic district south of Calhoun Street than to a typical suburban lot. He checks street width and driveway access before your date is set, the same way he would downtown.
| The address | What we plan around |
|---|---|
| Home in the historic Flowertown core | Narrow street and driveway access checked in advance |
| Home in a newer outlying subdivision | Standard driveway, longer highway leg factored into the schedule |
I-26 sets the clock
Summerville sits far enough out that Tobias Kern builds extra highway time into the day rather than treating it as a quick local run, so a Summerville move doesn’t get squeezed against a second job scheduled the same afternoon.
Historic-core and subdivision pricing
A home in the Flowertown core runs $1,120 to $1,950 as a set price for a typical two-bedroom, a newer three-bedroom subdivision home $1,950 to $3,200, highway time already built into the schedule either way.
One crew, whichever side of town
Momentum Movers doesn’t hand off a Summerville job partway because of the drive. The crew that quotes it, South Carolina-registered and employed by us directly, is the crew that finishes it.
